Possess educated, native-like mastery of both English and the target language (preferably being a native speaker of the target language).
Possess a minimum of 2 years of a college or university education.
Demonstrate the ability to perform consecutive interpreting and sight interpreting; a test may be administered to measure the interpreter's ability.
Possess a general knowledge of the specific interpretation subject matter, such as medical or legal terms to facilitate accurate message representation.
